Bert Van Praet (Dendermonde, 1972), obtained his law degree from KU Leuven (distinction) in 1995 as well as an additional Certificate of European Social Security (magna cum laude).
He started his career as a research assistant at the Social Law Institute of KU Leuven (1995-1998), and also joined the Dendermonde bar as a lawyer in 1996.
He obtained an additional Master's degree in Corporate Law in 2010, as well as the Supralat-Salduz assistance certificate (2022), the certificate “Cassation in criminal cases” (2016), the Special Training in Youth Law (2006) and various other certificates. From 2006 to 2017 he was a member of the Council of the Bar Association.
Since 2017, he has been included on the list of curators at the Dendermonde Enterprise Court.
He was a partner at the Advoconsult firm (Dendermonde) for 15 years and switched to Wanted Law Sint-Niklaas in 2024.
He handles files relating to general corporate law, contracts, social law and administrative law.
