Attorney-Partner Beersel

Cynthia Nowé

Cynthia Nowé (Dworp, 1964) obtained her Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven in 1987, specializing in tax law. After working in the private sector for a year, she decided to make the switch to the legal profession and joined the Brussels Bar. As was customary for a solo practice at the time, she initially focused on various branches of law.

Over the years, she increasingly specialized in family law. For more than 15 years, she has also been studying various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.

As a lecturer at KU Leuven, she shares her expertise with master's students in the subject of 'Negotiation & Mediation'. She was also a member of the Council of the Order, of the Flemish Bars and currently represents Dutch-speaking lawyers within the CCBE (Family Law Committee).

At the family court in Brussels, she is a pioneer in the trajectory guidance project, to help people solve their legal problems in the most appropriate way.
