Lieve Ghysbrecht (1972, Dendermonde) was born, grew up and still lives and works in Dendermonde.
After her law studies in Leuven (graduated in 1995) and after her additional study notary (1995-1996), Lieve started an internship at the bar of Dendermonde with Mr. Alain Legat (1996-2000).
In 2001 Lieve founded together with 2 other lawyers the law firm Librius on the market of Dendermonde.
She left this office in 2004 to join her husband Mr. Abbeloos to start the law firm Abbeloos & Ghysbrecht at Sint-Gillislaan 6.
In 2009 they took over the office of Mr. Jef Nijs and moved to the Noordlaan in Dendermonde, where they held an office with the name ANG with 5 other lawyers until August 2016.
In September 2016, the transformation into Abbeloos & Ghysbrecht followed and the office was located at Sint-Gillislaan 117 in Dendermonde, again with a team of 5 lawyers.
Lieve is mainly active in social law (closure of companies, takeover of companies), corporate law (loans and consumer affairs) and liability issues in construction cases and agreements.
Lieve thinks it is important to be accessible and to assist clients in full confidence in clear language, whereby it is very important that the client feels good and appreciated with the solution offered, which can certainly also be found outside the court.
