Paul Verhaeghe (Kortrijk, 1972) is practicing law since 1998 and is a member of the Dutch Bar Association in Brussels, where he has his head office. He is also a member of the West-Flanders Bar Association. He is mainly active in tax law. In addition, he is familiar with matters involving taxation, such as financial criminal law, insurance law, liability law for accounting professions and inheritances.

After his studies at the University of Ghent, where he obtained his law degree, he followed an additional study in tax law at the Université libre de Bruxelles. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Belgian Association of Tax Lawyers. He won cases befor the Court of Justice of the European Union, the Belgian Constitutional court, and the Belgian High Court.

He is particularly interested in updating tax law of digital business models. He closely follows developments in this matter and attempts to contribute by participating to public requests for input and writing articles.
