Adjustment of contracts to the extended liability rules (main contractor)

Since 1 January 2025, your customer has had additional options for filing claims for damages. Since then, your customer, whether consumer or professional, can claim damages not only from you as his co-contractor, but also from all those who have contributed to the service, in particular any subcontractors, employees, but also the directors of the co-contractor or other independent employees.

The new Book 6 of the Civil Code applies to all facts that occur after its entry into force, i.e. from 01.01.2025, including contracts that have already been concluded!

As a company, you always call on people of flesh and blood to carry out assignments. It is therefore crucial that you take a moment to consider the consequences of these new rules. Do you want your customer to hold your subcontractor, employees or other assistants accountable, or do you want to protect them?

Wanted Law offers you the necessary legal assistance for a fixed price.

You pay in advance in a few clicks via the Wanted shop and we do the rest!

What do you get?

We will discuss your situation with you by phone, video call or at our office so that we can gain a correct insight into your business.

Depending on what you want, we will propose the specific adjustments that you need to include in:

  • The main agreements between you and your customers
  • The sub-agreements between you and your assistants (subcontractor, independent employee, director, employee)
  • Your general terms and conditions

Who is this service intended for?

  • This service is intended for the main contractor, not for the assistant working for the main contractor. If you are the independent subcontractor, the independent service provider, the manager or the employee, you can choose another service in the Wanted Shop.
  • This service is intended for the main contractor who wants to adjust his future models. If you do not have any contracts or general terms and conditions yet, it is best to book a consultation via the Wanted Shop.
  • This service is not suitable for adjusting your current contracts. For that, you need to work with an addendum to the existing individual contracts. You can also choose this service in our Wanted Shop.

Cost price

The basic cost for this service is EUR 400.00 excluding VAT (or EUR 484.00 including 21% VAT) for sole proprietorships without a partnership. For partnerships, the basic cost is EUR 500.00 excluding VAT (or EUR 605.00 including 21% VAT).
