Paul Verhaeghe addresses Chamber committee on tax criminal law
On Tuesday, 7 July 2026, Paul Verhaeghe, lawyer and partner at Wanted Law Tax, took part in a hearing of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives.
The hearing concerned the bill adapting special tax criminal law to the new Criminal Code. The bill aims to bring several tax codes into line with the principles of the new Criminal Code and, among other things, repeals the Act of 16 May 2024 on the same subject.
