CJB Bruges: AML and professional ethics training by Paul Verhaeghe
On 10/02/2026, CJB Bruges hosted a practical presentation for lawyers on anti-money laundering (AML) and professional ethics within the legal profession.
Wanted Law’s Paul Verhaeghe delivered the session, which lasted approximately two hours. Among other topics, he covered current points of attention around compliance, risk assessment and professional conduct in the context of AML obligations, always with a focus on the concrete impact on day-to-day legal practice.
The training drew a strong turnout: around sixty lawyers attended and engaged in discussion about familiar case situations and common pitfalls.
