The Young Dynamism in Wanted Law Sint-Niklaas: Julie Poppe and Iris Borysiewicz
This summer, law students once again have a unique opportunity to gain practical experience at our law firm. Julie Poppe and Iris Borysiewicz, for example, completed their summer internships at Wanted Law in Sint-Niklaas. During their internship, they deepened their legal knowledge and experienced the dynamics of the legal profession firsthand.
This experience not only provided them with a fresh impetus for their professional development, but also gave them a broader perspective on the diversity of legal practice, from case work to hearings and consultations.
Julie is a first-year master's student at Ghent University, with an interest in family law, tort law, and equestrian law. Iris is a law student at Ghent University, and her passion lies in corporate law, consumer law, and family law.
We would like to thank the Wanted Law Sint-Niklaas team for this enriching experience. We had the opportunity to experience all aspects of the legal profession firsthand: from drafting our own briefs, where we consistently received accessible and constructive feedback, to attending multiple court hearings. We particularly appreciated that our specific interests were taken into account when assigning cases. This made us feel truly engaged and motivated. Moreover, the openness and warmth of the entire team made us feel immediately welcome.
