The Young Dynamism at Wanted Law Brugge: Camille Van Acker
At Wanted Law, we love giving young talent every opportunity to grow. This summer, we are once again welcoming enthusiastic interns – including Camille, who is joining our Bruges office. Here, she shares her experience.
Camille has just completed her first Master’s year in Law at Ghent University, focusing mainly on criminal law and family law, alongside strong foundations in mediation and human rights. Last semester, she spent one day a week at a law firm, gaining her first valuable insights into the profession. This second internship at Wanted Law further strengthens her passion for becoming a lawyer.
During my summer internship at Wanted Law, I had the opportunity to reconnect with a variety of legal fields. This diversity gave me a fresh, hands-on perspective on different branches of law. Despite the judicial recess, I was able to attend court hearings, take part in client consultations, review interesting case files, and even attend a general meeting of co-owners. What truly made this internship special was the warm and open atmosphere within the office, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the daily life of a lawyer.
