The Young Dynamism at Wanted Law Bruges: Bram De Rycke
At Wanted Law, we love to highlight the next generation of lawyers. During the summer months, we regularly welcome law students taking their first steps in law practice. This gives them the opportunity to experience the diversity of the legal profession and our way of working. This summer, Bram De Rycke joined the Wanted Law Bruges team.
Bram De Rycke obtained his Bachelor's degree in Law from KU Leuven and is currently in the second year of his Master's degree in Law at the same university, specializing in international and European law and criminal law.
During his studies, Bram developed a particular interest in international public law, constitutional law, and criminal law. He is also interested in various areas of civil law, such as property and family law.
Although Bram has previously completed internships with a bailiff and a justice of the peace, among others, the summer internship at Wanted Law Bruges was his first experience as a lawyer.
During my summer internship at Wanted Law Bruges, I first encountered the legal profession. I found myself in a friendly and motivating environment. My duties were varied and spanned various legal areas: from drafting briefs and developing conclusions to attending consultations. I also gained extensive practical experience by attending hearings in the Justice of the Peace and the Court of First Instance. This short but intensive internship was an inspiring and instructive introduction to the legal profession!
Thanks for your efforts Bram!
Thanks for your efforts, Bram – it was a pleasure having you on our team this summer. We wish you all the best with the rest of your studies and hope our paths cross again in the future!
