The Young Dynamism at Wanted Law Brugge: Emmy Vanhee
During the winter months, law students are given the opportunity to gain practical experience at law firms. Last week, Emmy Vanhee completed a one-week winter internship at Wanted Law Bruges. During this internship, she was able to further expand her legal knowledge and experience daily life at a law firm up close. It offered her the opportunity to sharpen her professional skills and gain a better insight into the workings of the legal profession.
Emmy Vanhee is currently in her second year of her Master's degree in Law at Ghent University. Her main interest lies in personal and family law.
I look back on my winter internship at Wanted Law in Bruges with great satisfaction! For me, this was the first internship in a law firm, so I didn't really know what to expect and whether this would be something for me. Due to the wide variety of legal disciplines that are covered within this firm, a winter internship at Wanted Law was the ideal opportunity to get acquainted with the legal profession and to explore different legal disciplines in practice. For example, I was allowed to prepare files, conduct research and I also had the opportunity to attend a few hearings.
I would therefore like to thank the entire team at Wanted Law Bruges for their warm welcome, guidance and willingness to share their knowledge and experiences. Thanks to them, this internship was a particularly educational and pleasant experience, for which I am extremely grateful!
Thank you Emmy!
