The Young Dynamism in Wanted Law Brugge: Emma Cardoen
The summer holidays are behind us, but in September we still regularly see law students coming to us for a summer internship in the law firms. For example, Emma Cardoen is doing an internship at Wanted Law in Bruges these weeks.
Emma is a 23-year-old student. After obtaining her master's degree in criminology, she decided to continue her academic journey in law, where she will now start her final year of her master's degree. Her interests mainly focus on criminal law, juvenile law and traffic law and she is motivated to explore these interests further at Wanted Law Brugge.
From the moment I entered Wanted Law Brugge, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the team. This internship not only offers me the opportunity to discover the ins and outs of the legal profession, but also to actively contribute to the daily practice. For example, during my first week, I attended several hearings, did research and contributed to writing a conclusion. The versatile nature of this law firm has given me a deeper insight into the diversity of the profession. I look forward to what the coming weeks will bring and am enthusiastic about making my contribution to this dynamic team!
