Wanted Law present at the Avolink conference
On Saturday 23/9/2023 we were present at the annual Avolink conference with our regular Wanted Law delegation and partners. This year it took place in Bruges.
In the morning, lawyers Joachim Vanspeybrouck, Pieter Pauwels, Lise Smagghe and Sharryn-Chill Hermy were attentive during the meeting and the presentation of guest speaker Professor Michel Maus on 'The utopia of tax reform'.
At lunch the partners were able to join them for the afternoon program. After an expertly guided walk through Bruges, which ended at the Burg, a tour was given in the Bruges Town Hall with the Gothic hall as an eye-catcher. Together with the mayor of Bruges De Fauw we enjoyed the Brugse Zot in the Lounges of the town hall. A unique ending was the exceptional visit to the mayor's office, with access to the gardens of the Bruges Town Hall.
A delicious dinner in one of the many cozy restaurants in Bruges concluded this educational day.
