We are pleased to announce that one of our lawyers, Paul Verhaeghe, has been invited to speak as a panelist at the Society for Trust and Estate Planning Cyprus (STEP) Congress on May 25 in Limosa (Cyprus). Various tax topics are on the agenda, including as a highlight and conclusion of the conference: the CJEU rulings regarding public access to the UBO register and the DAC6 report by lawyers.

They will go into more detail on:

• The way forward in maintaining legality across the European continent.
• The development of offshore jurisdictions, the reasons for their proliferation and their future.
